 Family Day Homes

A family day home is a private residence where a childcare provider offers care, supervision, and developmental activities for preschool and school-aged children. Hemel House oversees the number and ages of children in these homes.

Hemel House screens and approves each day at home to ensure high standards in programming, nutrition, safety, and hygiene.

Educators are trained in First Aid and childcare, adhere to all provincial and agency regulations, and participate in monthly training meetings. They design their environments to ensure the safety, stimulation, and well-being of every child.
