I just wanted to send you girls an email thanking you for all your support.
L. (Child Care Consultant) came over this morning for observations, and it felt good knowing that you girls are here for us, whenever we need you, you're always willing to go above and beyond for us. She was here at 7:20, and the office doesn't open until 8, so her starting her day early, for me, was very much appreciated! Plus, I didn't have to ask her, she offered to come.
That's just one example, of all of your kindness. A. (coordinator) is so supportive and helpful with all my questions and concerns, thank you so much:)
I appreciate every one of you and all you've done for me, you make me feel like I can come to you girls for anything, and that's a great feeling!!

We have been with our provider since August 2011. We could not be happier with our choice. She is professional and runs a very organized day home. Our daughter is thrilled to see her every morning, and loves spending the day at her home.
We enjoy seeing the activity and meal plan which is posted for the week. We have been delighted to bring home some projects and crafts that have been worked on during the day. They have outdoor play time in the backyard as often as the weather allows it.
Our provider keeps us posted on our daughter's development and milestones. She has always invited us to call or stop by anytime we want to see how our daughter is doing.

I was put in touch with my provider through Hemel House when I started my day home search for care for my one-year-old son. When I first spoke to the provider on the phone I was very impressed by her friendly demeanor. She was very knowledgeable, had over 20 years experience and gave me a list of things to look for in a day home.
I arranged to bring my son and meet her at her day home during daytime hours. Her home was set up with the children in mind. Toys, books and activities are accessible to the children and not locked away in a cupboard. I saw firsthand how the children learn empathy as I watched the children interact and solve conflict amongst them. The other children made my son feel welcome by coming over and giving him a car to play with. After our initial visit I felt that this day home would be a perfect match.
I am very comfortable leaving my child in her care. I do not worry about the children's safety, as I know that my provider is up to date on CPR and First Aid. She keeps current on her skills and is always taking different course or is involved in Hemel House training. This demonstrates to me that she is very dedicated to her job and to the well being of the children in her care.
There are many times that I have turned to my provider for advice or to ask opinions on and she responds in a very supportive manner. I feel comfortable in discussing any questions or concerns that arise, as she is a strong believer in open and honest communication. She always keeps us informed about how my son is doing developmentally while in her care. My husband and I believe that our son has gained a lot of skills both physically and mentally by being in the day home. He has become very social and curious as a result of the ongoing encouragement and support from our provider. He enjoys attending the day home and as a result I am able to go back to work and not worry about him all day.
I look forward to more years working with our provider and Hemel House. I consider her an important part of our family and would highly recommend her day home.
